I can't remember if I made these points in class Wednesday so forgive me if I beat a dead horse with a shark. Both are lovely designs, but my only complaint is that the cover page and the two page spread are very similar in each. In the top composition we have the mirrored images on bothe the cover AND the inside spread. I think spread is fine, but the cover could be less symmetrical and mirrored. I feel that the bottom composition is much more interesting, but the cover image is still a little too similar to the spread. I think the cover works, but perhaps we could be deeper in the water in the spread. The sharks could get just a smidge smaller and possibly a bit further apart to allow more room for the text and the boat could get further to suggest the surface is much farther away.
