  1. I like the contained, round-cornered rectangles all of these are in. I like the sand lady most, she looks awesome emerging out in little bits.

  2. I'm a big fan of illustration of fancy ladies, and I'm so excited to see yours done. I really liked your underwater paintings and I think it's cool your incorporating that into your cards. These kinda give me an Alphonse Mucha feel and I really dig it. It also makes me want to look up the mythology behind them because that is such an interesting thing to base the deck on! So excited for these.

  4. i like the way your create the borders for the characters and then they break out. It gives them a cool vibe. I'd like to see the pieces when the color is applied, especially if the color is contained within the borders and the figures, which would still be colored, breaks the containment.

  5. These are all very beautiful and the breaking of those squarish bounds works wonderfully.

Can't wait to see more of these.

    (really like Amphithoe!)

  6. I agree that the organic borders reinforce the concept of figures in water. The figures are carefully considered and the compositions are interesting as well. Looking good so far!
