Car Commission

Here's another process post on a car painting I did for my neighbor who owns the pretty Opel. I included all of the detail work for the client, but I enjoy the unfinished image a bit more than the finished piece... not sure why. Anyway, enjoy!

  1. looks great! i always like unfinished stuff, too.

  2. That is better than a Fairfield Porter car!

  3. Saw your Portfolio blog (Fiona Apple ^.^) and had to check this other stuff out! You're really good.
Inspiration to young(er) artists like me,so thanks.

  4. This is so cool.

I think you're kinda a inspiration to young(er) artists like me. So thanks..

  5. Thank you! That means a lot. I like your short films :)

  6. Dear Marie,
Somebody once said: "I don't finish a painting, I just stop at an interesting point". So I guess that is why you like the "unfinished" moment. I saw you stuff at behance, congrats, you have talent and are doing great. I love your idea of 30 bucks small canvases commission.
    Keep me posted!

  7. Thank you Suzanna I appreciate the feedback! Yes, I have heard that quote too... most recently from Mark English. You have a fantastic portfolio as well! I will be sure to keep you posted. :)
