Haha: You would think by now I would have learned to eliminate awkward tangents in my compositions. There's always a next time to improve.

    That is beautiful! I have always found oil to be very hard to work with.

    Thanks! I used to be very intimidated by oils, but once I started working with them I couldn't stop. For me, oils are easiest to use when I put down a foundation of washes to find my composition before moving straight to painting.
